Learning
Machakos Christian School uses the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) curriculum​for the foundation years of our students.

ACE's core curriculum is an individualized, Biblically-based, character-building curriculum package and is based on a series of workbooks called PACEs (Packets of Accelerated Christian Education)
​
At the beginning of each PACE is an overview, a scripture to memorize, a character trait to strive toward, and information on what, if any, supplies the student will need. Each subject has twelve PACEs per grade level.

A new student is given a diagnostic test, and the test results place the student at appropriate levels by subject. Students are required to set daily goals for work completion, score PACE goals correctly and completely, and are generally expected to complete a PACE within two to three weeks

We are in the process of advancing our senior students (grade 7 and above) to a fully online learning system.

Online Learning
Our students have the opportunity to increase reading speed, comprehension, learn keyboarding skills, enhance maths skills and improve vocabulary.
Kindergaten & Preschool
The program prepares children for the individualized instruction of the PACE curriculum.
Kindergarten is a lively and entertaining phonics-based program featuring cartoon characters, songs, poems, displays, and character-building activities.
Grades 1-8
The PACES in this level consist of the core curriculum subjects namely mathematics, English, Literature, Science, Social studies and Word building,
Grades 9-12
This level has both the core curriculum as well as elective subjects, preparing them for university and college.
